What is Eddy Current Testing?

Using specialized eddy current probes, our technicians inspect individual tubes to identify both surface and subsurface defects, including:

  • Corrosion

  • Pitting

  • Cracking

  • Wall thinning

  • Other forms of material degradation

All inspections are performed by trained, qualified technicians following established industry standards and documented procedures. We use calibrated equipment and advanced analysis software to deliver accurate, repeatable results that our clients can rely on.

Following each inspection, we provide a comprehensive report detailing:

  • The location and characterization of any defects

  • Severity assessments

  • Maintenance, repair, or replacement recommendations

These reports help facility managers, contractors, and building owners make informed decisions regarding preventative maintenance, equipment reliability, asset management, and long-term operational planning.
